Electronic Filing of VAT Returns to Become Mandatory

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) confirmed that from 1st April 2012, all VAT returns must be filed online and all payments made electronically.
Up this date mandatory electronic payment and filing only applies to newly registered businesses and those with turnovers of £100,000 or more.
